Description
High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula and color accuracy superior to other brands in the market. Flows smoothly in an airbrush, adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds firmly all kind of weathering products. May be diluted with AK701/AK702 High Compability Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints. Standard color of IDF vehicles and military equipment during the 1950s and 1960s (including the Six Day War), it was widely used until the Yom Kippur War in 1973, on tanks such as the AMX-13, Shermans, early M48 Pattons and the majority of the Centurion (Sho t). After the Yom Kippur War it was still in use in the South and the Sinai Peninsula.
